MODULATIONS AS A RESULT OF ALTERATION OF TONES
Keywords:
tones, modulationsAbstract
Altered tones, applied in all varieties, are often used in instructive melodic ètudes for the solfeggio, and also in the examples from the artistic literature. The most complex ètudes contain modulated procedures which are, in fact, the result of the alteration of tones. This paper attempts to present, solve and preempt the intonational inertia caused by the auditive assumption about the coming melodic movement. All possibilities of the change of tonality through altered tones are isolated here, and for some of them we give the melodic examples with the analysis.
