This study is based on investigation of anglicisms in the names of business companies in Serbia, i.e. in Beograd, Kragujevac and Novi Pazar. The main research questions guiding the research have been: fi rst, to what extent is English used in these cities; and second, does the language used in the names of business companies depend on the type of business.
